For Elizabeth Beck, quilting started as a beloved hobby, a creative outlet amidst the demands of motherhood. Little did she know that it would eventually lead her to establish a thriving business. Her quilting journey took a momentous turn when she got involved with the community of Clarkston, Georgia, one of the largest refugee resettlement communities in the United States. Elizabeth was deeply moved by the resilience and talents of these refugee women settling near her home. She discovered that many of these women were master sewers in their home countries, possessing remarkable expertise in crafting textiles and fabric. Dr. James Tour was born in the Bronx, New York and raised in a secular Jewish home. During his undergrad studies at Syracuse University he would encounter Jesus for the first time while praying in his dorm room. In this episode Dr. Tour shares how this encounter and relationship would shape his career as an organic chemist. Our team followed Dr. Tour around for a day at Rice University where he works as a Professor of Chemistry, Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, and Professor of Computer Science. Professor Tour has over 750 research publications, over 130 granted patents and over 100 pending patents. He has an h-index = 165 with total citations over 125,000. Since 1993, Scott Sabin has been instrumental in leading Plant With Purpose, guiding a dedicated global team and empowering local partners to take charge of the mission. An advocate for reforestation as a cornerstone of sustainable development, Scott shares his insights through public speaking, journal articles, and his book, Tending to Eden. A former Navy officer, Scott holds a B.S. in Political Science from Oregon State University and an M.A. in International Relations from the University of San Diego. Ruben Tellez Jr. was born and raised in Southern California where he grew up playing football. After a foot injury his life took a turn to the streets and a life of crime ensued. After multiple arrests and being admitted to a mental institution, Ruben believed he had come to the end of the rope. While sleeping behind a dumpster, he remembered hearing worship music and the kindness of a doughnut shop owner. Ruben met Jesus soon after and his life was transformed. Today he runs and manages a manufacturing warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia where gets to work with his hands through welding. Ruben's career allows him to mentor and teach other men the trade of welding. We met Ruben while he was serving on the streets through a ministry he leads called Fresh Food Friday in Atlanta. Atlanta based rapper, Aaron Patterson, was raised in Massachusetts with dreams of preforming on the big stage. Born into a home that knew and served the Lord, it took Aaron some time to encounter the King for himself. As a child he remembers financial hardship which had his family living in their car, in hotels and with friends. As a result, he adopted the mindset that he'd have to make it on his own and took his musical gifts to the world. After years of chasing women, money and a platform, the Lord brought Aaron to his knees. Aaron surrendered his life to Jesus and dedicated his gifts to the Maker. Aaron moved to Atlanta and felt a call to return to music but on mission for the Kingdom. In 2020, he and his wife felt led to launch a ministry called "Break The Cycle", a movement dedicated to breaking generational trauma and healing in biblical truths.

DJ Radikal, a native of Brooklyn, New York, shares how discipleship transformed both his approach to DJ’ing and his walk with Christ. Through biblical mentorship and community, he began to see his craft not just as entertainment, but as a way to serve others and reflect the love of Jesus. Learning what it means to truly love one another according to Scripture reshaped his life, his relationships, and the purpose behind his music. Meet Disciple-Maker Fred Eason—a man whose story is a powerful testament to redemption, resilience, and purpose. Sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole, Fred served 36 years behind bars. During that time, he discovered his faith in God and uncovered a passion for painting. With the support of Heartbound Ministries, Fred was able to successfully reintegrate into society after his release. Now, he's come full circle—returning to prison not as an inmate, but as a mentor. Through HeartBound Ministries, Fred teaches painting to incarcerated youth, using art as a bridge to healing, hope, and transformation. Shelley Vinson-Bullock  is a wife, mother, singer, author and speaker. Her passion is serving God and people. She believes that with God all things are possible! SVB was born in Dayton, Ohio and later moved to Marietta, Georgia with her parents and five older sisters at the age of four. Shelley’s interest in writing short stories, poems, songs, and skits started when she attended elementary school. She knew from an early age that writing would be a way for her to express herself and that this would be something she would want to do for the rest of her life! Shelley’s writing skills continued to grow as she got older. By the age of 18, she began a career with two of her sisters as a recording artist in a group called V3.  As a member of V3, Shelley contributed her artistry as a lead vocalist and writer. While singing and traveling with her sisters, she met and later married choreographer and recording artist, Deshon Bullock! Shelley and Deshon now have four beautiful children together.  Shelley’s first love is writing which led to the launch of SVB PUBLICATIONS in late 2019. Publishing her first children’s book, MY PRAYER, through her own publishing house was a lifelong dream realized. Shelley continues to write and has many more publications in the works. Shelley has experienced many joys and challenges in her personal life and all of these experiences have become huge sources of inspiration for Shelley in all that she does in ministry. Her goal is to manage all that God has given her well. Shelley is currently serving as Youth President at her home church Highpoint Christian Tabernacle. Her goal is to inspire others and push the next generation forward in the things of God.  She wants to show her children, as well as other wives and moms like her, that their voice matters and with hard work, perseverance, and faith in God, dreams do come true! “I believe that everyone has a story and everyone has a voice… your story needs to be told and your voice deserves to be heard.
