Our Mission
Disciples Make is a ministry dedicated to declaring the glory of God through the craftsmanship of disciples around the world. We do this by means of education, training and storytelling. We exist to encourage the believer and to reach those seeking truth. At the heart of all that we do our mission is to love Jesus, love people and make disciples.
OUR TEAM
Disciples Make is brought to you by CALM Collective, a faith based creative agency located in Atlanta, Georgia. CALM is led by producers Corban and Anele Lundborg, an artistic duo dedicated to the Great Commission.
Anele LundborgManaging Director
Anele Lundborg was born in South Africa to a Xhosa family. She went to university to study IT but soon got into television hosting with one of South Africa's largest networks. An opportunity for Anele to study abroad at the New York Film Academy opened up and with her family's blessing she left South Africa during her third year of IT studies with the dream of becoming an actress. In 2016 she met her now husband, Corban Lundborg in North Hollywood. Soon after being married Anele and Corban were looking for a church home in Los Angeles. After sometime of searching without much success, they decided to walk across the street from their apartment to a small church plant in an elementary school; this is where Anele heard the Gospel for the first time. This church took discipleship seriously and Anele's life was drastically transformed. She was pulled out of "prosperity gospel" culture and radically started seeking Jesus. Her dreams of working as an actress came to life time and time again, while working on some of the most successful movies to date. Anele's heart is to disciple and mentor women working in the arts. |
Corban LundborgCreative Director
Corban Lundborg grew up immersed in graffiti culture up in Minneapolis, MN. After a childhood of trouble and crime, he shipped off with the military right out of high school in search of adventure and purpose. His creative career began when he was introduced to tattooing in South Korea while serving on active duty. The Air Force moved him to Italy where he turned his military dorm room into an art studio where he sold paintings, designed clothing and tattooed other military members. In 2012 he would deploy to an undisclosed desert where he had his first memorable Jesus encounter. The Lord met him in his tent and would change his life forever. The following year he left active duty to pursue a full-time career in the arts. Corban found success in painting, photography and filmmaking but realized his work lacked discipleship. After being discipled well in small church plant in LA with his wife, Anele, Corban refocused his life & work unto God's glory. Disciples Make is a creative outlet for Corban to create, design and tell stories that point back to Jesus. |
Our Beliefs
At Disciples Make we believe that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three distinct persons, who each are fully, equally and eternally God, yet there is one God. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power” (Hebrews 1:3).
Jesus speaks to us through a collection of writings we refer to as the Bible (Scripture), a group of people we call the Family of God (Church), and more importantly, through divine revelation coming directly from God (Holy Spirit).
Disciples Make is a ministry under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
